Writing Stuff

I'm a writer. Mostly I write comedy programmes for television. It's usually sitcoms, but I've also written (and performed) in sketch shows, and script-edited on factual series. I also write for radio and video games. Once long ago I even toured theatre, and performed live comedy.

All kinds of famous people have been in things that I've written, and their pictures are scattered around these pages until their agents contact me and tell me to remove them. Until then, let's hope that some of their celebrity glory rubs off and makes me look good.

Here's a list of a few of the things I've done, sometimes with my comedy writing partner James Griffiths, and sometimes not. Click on each title for more information:

Production Company: CBBC
Broadcast: BBC1, 2010

We wrote two episodes of this brilliantly mental CBBC sitcom; "Hello Dolly" in Season 2, and "Offensive" in Season 3. I also script-polished the final five episodes in Season 3.

Videos

I'm not entirely clear on the legality of uploading videos of broadcast work. Fortunately I've recently discovered that some other kind people have uploaded spurious clips of my shows to YouTube, so I guess there's no harm in linking to them:

This is a musical compilation of some of the magical moments from Jinx, which gives you a good flavour of the series (without using any actual dialogue...)
