At The Millrace we have been supporting local farmers to find the best range of quality produce since we opened in 2000.
We now have a whole range of products from organically certified
vegetable and fruit boxes to
store cupboard staples and
speciality local and regional produce.
Wherever possible our vegetables come direct from St Helens Farm nr Tadcaster; our
organic meat is from Jo Cartwright at Swillington Farm Leeds and our
milk from Clever Cow Dairy near Dewsbury.
You can even buy from our award winning
organic wine list or check out our range of
organic beers,
spirits or
soft drinks.
We have
Fair-traded Teas and Coffees and a range of
Ecover cleaning products that are available as refills.
For those of you we cannot reach yet, order your goods and collect direct from the restaurant.

We now have Fresh Fish available from Ramus Seafoods in Harrogate.
Our fish is mainly sourced from the East Coast and has full traceability.
We have traditionally smoked haddock and Icelandic cod which are line caught from sustainably managed waters, organic salmon and many other varieties of fish
