A Site About Me & My Stuff
Here's the thing; I'm called Mark, I live in the UK, and I'm a TV comedy writer.
I write a lot of comedy stuff for TV. I've got a wide range of styles and I've written on all types of shows... As long as it's funny I'll write it. I love all kinds of comedy.
I also develop shows and do a fair bit of script-polishing for on-going series, often under mad deadlines.
In the past I've written video game scripts for Xbox and PS2, animated daily topical cartoons for Channel 4, performed on a very low budget BBC2 sketch show, and chased Gordon Brown down the middle of a busy road while dressed a Mr Spock. But I don't do that much any more.
You can click that "Writing" button up there on the left to have a look at some of the things I've done. If you want.
Feel free to have a look around and rummage through my stuff. Or you can get in touch with me by using good old-fashioned email. There's a link for that below, look...
With much boom and bluster the first series of the amazing, ground-breaking animation Strange Hill High launches on CBBC, Wednesday 8th May. Me and Jim's first episode King Mitchell kicks off the series...
I'm currently writing two new episodes for the third season of the multi-award-winning 4 O'Clock Club.
I'm co-writing the pilot for a monstrous stop-motion adaptation of the Scream Street books.
